The Rajasthani Association Tamil Nadu in association with the Rajasthani Educational Trust Tamil Nadu hosted the grand Scholarship Distribution Ceremony 2025 on Sunday, 20th July, at DG Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, Chennai — a proud reaffirmation of the community’s unwavering commitment to educational upliftment and social progress.
The morning commenced with a solemn prayer and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge, hope, and enlightenment.
The event was elegantly compered by Shri Vivek Bomb, Co-Chairman – Scholarship Committee, who seamlessly conducted the proceedings with grace and gravitas.
President Shri Narendra Srisrimal warmly welcomed the gathering, expressing deep appreciation to all dignitaries, students, parents, and members.
Our Scholarship Program, envisioned in 1976, stands today on the cusp of its Golden Jubilee. In this inspiring journey, over 1.1 lakh students have been empowered and scholarships exceeding ?12 crores disbursed. This legacy is not just a statistic — it is the heartbeat of our community’s commitment to education.
An evocative audio-visual presentation captured the remarkable 100-year journey of Rajasthanis in Tamil Nadu — chronicling their invaluable contributions to education, commerce, and community welfare.
General Secretary Shri Dinesh Kothari presented a detailed Annual Report, highlighting the organization’s initiatives, milestones, and the transformative impact of its programs.
Scholarship Committee Chairman Shri Praveen Tatia delivered a comprehensive report on this year’s scholarship disbursement.
It is with pride that I share — in 2025, scholarships worth ?35 lakhs were distributed to 650 deserving and meritorious students. These scholarships are not mere financial grants, but catalysts of change — enabling ambition, instilling hope, and nurturing future leaders.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. B. Chandra Mohan, IAS, Principal Secretary – School Education Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.

The function concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Shri Subhashchand Ranka, Chairman – Rajasthani Educational Trust Tamil Nadu, who acknowledged the tireless contributions of donors, volunteers, office bearers, and the organizing team.
Treasurer Shri Suresh Sancheti and a host of Past Presidents, Office Bearers, Executive Committee members, parents, and members of the community came together in large numbers to grace the occasion, making it a grand success.
The event not only celebrated academic excellence but also reaffirmed the Rajasthani community’s belief — that education is the most powerful investment in shaping a better tomorrow.
